iMSB Release 2.1

With iMSB Release 2.1 we further improved meter and digital fields layout by adding additional views to display data.

Moreover we also added a supplemental value to the vario sensors that measures the actual altitude change over a specifiable period of time. This value is intended to provide better indication of the model altitude gain or loss than the climb rate.

Icon design and application size was further reduced.

Features:

  • Added a round analog vu-meter that can be selected in the display view layout definition
  • Added a digital bar graph value field that can be associated to a display view layout
  • Introduced a supplemental height change value to all vario sensors that measures the effective altitude change over a user specified time. An appropriate announcement voice command was added as well
  • On RN-171 based serial Wi-Fi modules running firmware 4.4 or higher it is now possible to protect wlan access via a password. To set the password the Wi-Fi module must be re-programmed through iMSB

Enhancements:

  • Digital display view fields can now be moved in the display layout definition
  • Added voice commands to navigate sequentially in forward and reverse direction through the various display views
  • Added a voice notification that announces the currently displayed view when a new view is displayed. The feature can be enabled or disabled in the application settings
  • Improved icon design
  • Reduced application size

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a problem with some complex recorded flight logs that were not played back correctly in some circumstances
  • Minor bug fixes
