With iMSB Release 1.3 we are recovering some decent mapping material, at least for users running iOS6. The built-in Apple maps were dropped and replaced by the Google alternative that is way better than what Apple has given us when they released iOS6. When watching the built-in EasyGlider demo you will now have a better insight of where the flight was recorded.
We also added support for measurement units other than the metric system. Units in the imperial and nautical system are now available for those users who feel more comfortable with these.
Features:
- Mapping material is now based on Google maps
- Please note that iMSB will not be able to run iOS versions lower than 5.1
- Added support for the imperial and nautical measurement system. Selecting the prefered measurement units can now be done in the application settings of the international section
Enhancements:
- Optimised value and range picker handling. Value selection is now more specific to the edited parameter type
Bug fixes:
- Fixed issue in the model and log file selection views that were not keeping the currently selected model when drilling down into the detail information
- Fixed wrong distance and power calculation when received data values are not valid
- Fixed bug in the display view definition pages, that were not handling the view enabling switch correctly
